Miss Universe Philippines organization has announced the Top 40 delegates who will be competing for the fourth edition of Miss Universe Philippines. The finale date and time is yet to be announced for the pageant where Celeste Cortesi Miss Universe Philippines 2022 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

In a series of features, lets introduce the Top 40 delegates of Miss Universe Philippines 2023. Samantha Panlilio from Cavite, an absolute fan-favourite, has made it as one of the official delegates of the national pageant. From Miss Grand International to Miss Universe, it will be a delightful journey of Samantha Panlilio. Samantha Panlilio represented Philippines at Miss Grand International 2021 but unfortunately remained unplaced.

The 27-year-old entrepreneur and advocate of sustainable farming hinted at her return to pageantry. She holds a bachelor’s degree in information management from the University of California Irvine and has earned business-related work experience from various companies in the US and the Philippines.

Samantha is a Viva Artists Agency talent and also runs her own businesses, and podcast ‘Walk the Talk’ where she talks about beauty beyond boundaries with topics related to lifestyle, mental health, and more with her queen sister Maureen Montagne.

On winning the opportunity to compete at Miss Universe Philippines 2023, Samantha took to her official social media as she wrote, “Yesterday’s energy was on another level. I felt nothing but good spirits from everyone at the venue — from the Miss Universe organization to the media, supporters and my fellow aspirants. Thank you for being so encouraging! When my name got called, I felt grateful and I felt loved; which are two of the best feelings in the universe.”

“Thank you for all the messages and congratulations especially from my day one #Samblazers but really, congratulations to US! As I’ve mentioned before I am a reflection of my team, supporters, creatives, family and friends. This one is for you, this is our #iSamPanLaban!”, she added.

The Miss Universe Philippines 2023 winner will be the successor of Celeste Cortesi, who represented the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2022 in January. The winner of the upcoming pageant will compete at the 72nd Miss Universe which will take place in El Salvador in late 2023.
