Miss Universe Philippines organization has announced the Top 40 delegates who will be competing for the fourth edition of Miss Universe Philippines. The finale date and time is yet to be announced for the pageant where Celeste Cortesi Miss Universe Philippines 2022 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

In a series of features, lets introduce the Top 40 delegates of Miss Universe Philippines 2023. Vanessa Maria Yuson Matzeit, representing Negros Oriental, has made it as one of the official delegates at the national competition. Vanessa hails from Municipality of Mabinay.

Vanessa is a Filipina-German survivor of Endometreosis. The stunning beauty speaks 5 languages fluently including French, German, English, Filipino and even Cebuano. She is a Business Administration degree holder and has worked in Germany since she was only 15. She has worked as a hotel clerk and has experienced scrubbing toilets as part of her training, became a flight stewardess and also waited tables at a café (waitress) to make both ends meet in Germany during the pandemic.

She advocates for Accessible Women's Health Care and hopes to represent all the hardworking women in the Philippines who are constantly pursuing their life-long dreams. Vanessa will do her runway training by esteemed Queen Maker Rodin Gilbert B.flores of Kagandahang Flores. She is definitely another strong newbie at Miss Universe Philippines 2023.

The Miss Universe Philippines 2023 winner will be the successor of Celeste Cortesi, who represented the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2022 in January. The winner of the upcoming pageant will compete at the 72nd Miss Universe which will take place in El Salvador in late 2023.
