Natasha Jung, the representative of Kananga at Miss Universe Philippines 2024, took to her official social media to announce her withdrawal from Miss Universe Philippines 2023 due to personal reasons.
In her announcement, Natasha spoke about how she would like to prioritize her personal growth and commitments. Although she has decided to not compete, Natasha vouched that she will stay committed to, and continuously promote her individual causes.
“I will use this time to reflect on myself, my priorities, and to address the personal matters that require my immediate attention. It is essential for me to take this opportunity to ensure that I am in the best possible state to navigate through this challenges effectively. I will also be evaluating my future commitments and endeavors, ensuring that I am able to dedicate myself fully when the time is right”, Jung said.
At the end, Jung thanked everyone, including the organization and her friends and family. She also apologized to the organization and her fellow contestants, supporters, sponsors for any nuisance, trouble or inconvenience because of her decision.
Miss Universe Philippines, the fifth edition of Miss Universe Philippines, will be held on 11th May 2024 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, Bay City, Pasay, Philippines where the winner will be crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2024 and succeed Michelle Dee Miss Universe Philippines 2023.
