Mariztella Lat was crowned Miss Universe Batangas 2024 at the finale of the first ever state pageant held on 20th January 2024 at FPJ Arena, San Jose, Batangas as she became the official representative of Batangas at Miss Universe Philippines 2024.

Mariztella Lat hails from Batangas City and bested eighteen other contestants to win Miss Universe Philippines – Batangas 2024 crown. On winning the state crown, Lat took to her official social media as she wrote, “If you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true.”

The newly crowned Miss Universe – Batangas 2024 Mariztella Lat’s court included –

1st Runner-up – Bless Hermie Lamang of Tambo, Lipa City

2nd Runner-up – Maria Carmela Calingasan of Inosluban, Lipa City

3rd Runner-up – Rachel Ann Carino of Sto. Tomas City

Also at the finale, Renee Coleen Sta. Teresa from Lapu-Lapu, Ibaan was crowned Miss Philippines Batangas 2024 as she became the official representative of Batangas at The Miss Philippines 2024. The 2nd edition of The Miss Philippines will be held later this year where The Miss Philippines 2023 Alethea Ambrosio will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

The hosts for the evening included Kitt Cortez Mister Tourism International Philippines 2023 and Risha Marcella while the panel of jury included Shamcey Supsup Lee, Lloyd Lee, Christine Opiaza, Attin Basig, Corazon Carlos, Beni Maligalig, Perry Gamboa.
