Carolina Pérez of Mexico wins Best National Costume at Reina Hispanoamericana 2023

The official National Costume Competition of Reina Hispanoamericana 2023 was held on 21st January 2024 at Municipality of Porongo where the delegates paraded in their official national costumes to celebrate the traditions and cultures of their respective countries.

At the end of the event finale, Carolina Pérez of Mexico was awarded ‘Best National Costume’ award. Carolina wore ‘Talavera Garbancera’ tradition outfit at the national costume competition which is a worthy representation of the Mexican culture.

 

 

The national costume is the symbol for Mexico which pays homage to the Talavera of the state of Puebla that is recognized internationally as well as the festival of the Day of the Dead, two great representations for Mexico. Carolina displayed her traditional costume with confidence and dedication.

The 32nd edition of Reina Hispanoamericana is all set to be held on 28th January 2024 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia where Reina Hispanoamericana 2022 Arlette Rujel of Peru will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
