Fueling another crossover comeback in the Filipino pageant industry, Siargao Island’s Michele Angela Navarro Okol is anticipated to enter Miss Philippines Earth 2022 after her stint at Miss Universe Philippines last year.

The diva has recently revealed her new look, looking fierce, strong, stunning and ready to take over another run for a national crown and an opportunity to represent the country at an international platform.

21 years-old Michele is a consistent 1st honor dean’s lister taking up Political Science in one of Manila’s top universities. She moves and talks gracefully, and her petite stature and soft-spoken demeanor may give the impression that she is the shy, attractive girl next door. Angela catches attention right away with her unusual outlook on life, her celebration of her individuality, and her plans to fulfil her God-given mission on earth.

She is a dedicated advocate of world peace and other social as well as political concerns about the planet. “My humble contribution to curb the adverse effect of large amounts of waste and harmful gasses that factories create/emit to the environment,” she shared. Bent to make her humble contributions to save the environment, Michele also buys deadstock fabric to make clothes.

Okol, who was bullied as a kid for being ‘too big or healthy’ for her age, wants to take a giant stride forward with a mission to tell her story and be an empowering force to advocate for self-acceptance and love, and to inspire others to do the same. She strongly believes, "The better you are, the greater you contribute to a better world."

The former Miss Universe Philippines contestant, will now try her luck in Miss Philippines Earth 2022 and if she manages to move ahead in the competition, she can definitely be a strong contender for the title as well as an ideal delegate to represent the country at the international platform.
