Miss Universe Philippines Zambales held the sashing ceremony on 8th February 2024 where Anita Rose Gomez was appointed and officially sashed as Miss Universe Philippines – Zambales 2024 and will now represent Zambales at Miss Universe Philippines 2024.

Anita Gomez is 23 years of age and hails from Subic, Zambales. The beauty queen is known for her 19’’ waistline in the Philippines. Not new to the pageanty, Zambales holds local titles such as Miss Sibit-Sibit Indiano 2019, Miss LK Olangapo 2019, 2nd runner-up Miss Fit Philippines 2020. She also competed at Miss Earth Philippines 2021 but remained unplaced.

In 2022, Anita competed at Queen of the North 2022 where she won Queen of the North-Luzon 2022. Last year, Zambales competed at Binibining Zambales 2023 where she was adjudged Binibining Zambales Tourism 2023. Anita has a lot of local pageantry experience which she can use moving forward at the national competition.

Miss Universe Philippines 2024, the fifth edition of Miss Universe Philippines, will be held later this year where Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee of Makati will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
