The organization of Miss Universe Portugal has announced that Cristiana Silva will be the official representative of Portugal at Miss Universe 2020 stage. The decision was announced a few hours ago on their official social media account and the decision is an outcome of the fact that the Miss Universe Portugal 2020 pageant couldn’t be held due to the pandemic.
Cristiana is 19-years-old and stands 170 cm tall is studying solicitors. The diva was adjudged as the first runner-up of Miss Portuguesa 2019 and is very excited to represent the country at Miss Universe 2020 stage. She hopes to perform her best at the competition and win the title for the country.
Cristiana describes herself as outgoing, smiling, and as someone who loves to know about other cultures, traditions, and customs. The diva enjoys playing sports and being with family and friends especially outside. She has mentioned that she has always looked up representing her country at international stage one day but wasn’t sure if she’ll make it or not but she did and she is very grateful for the organization who believed in her and gave her the title of first runner-up of Miss Portuguesa 2019.
After winning the title, the diva had mentioned that it has been her privilege to be receiving the crown and she is looking forward to spend her time as the first runner-up of Miss Portuguesa 2019 but, little did she know that she will be representing the country at Miss Universe 2020 stage. The diva has also worked with few designers and brands in Portugal which has helped her to gain some experience and knowledge about beauty pageants. Post her reign, she mentioned that she is very grateful for a year of learning, of successes, of goals achieved and above all personal fulfilment.
She is a young woman who is passionate about life, has a head full of dreams and goals, and whose motto is “Life is a gift that we must enjoy until the last second”. She advocates about self-care and self-love through her social media account where in one of her posts she has mentioned that “Self-care is about understanding our limitations, about not blaming ourselves and taking some of the world's responsibility off our backs. It is painting the heart with peace, unloading the pain, and taking care of the soul! It's about being best friends with ourselves.”
