After several months of castings, interviews and challenges, the announcement of the candidates for the crown of Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2018 was finally done.

The director of the Miss Universe Puerto Rico franchise, Denise Quiñones, along with Javier Maynulet, president of WAPA TV, and her entire team officially presented the 30 candidates who will seek the Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2018 crown. It will be on September 20 at the Luis A. Ferré Fine Arts Center.

With the theme #labellezarenace, this contest will represent the rebirth of Puerto Rico and its ability to stand. In the same way, the Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2018 candidates will feel that rebirth after receiving the intensive preparation, on a personal and professional level, that they will have in the coming months in the hands of a large group of experts.

"It has been months of dedication and dedication to this new project, I thank infinitely the team that, together with me, accepted this assignment," expressed Miss Universe 2001.

The group of collaborators that make up the team of professionals are: Clark Ivor, Image Director of the franchise. Ivor has 25 years of experience in the local and international industry. Celebrity make-up artist of local and international recognition.
