Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2018 held its grand finale on 20th September 2018 at Center of Fine Arts of Santurce where Miss Universe Rincón 2018 Kiara Liz Ortega was crowned the new queen by her predecessor Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2017 Danna Hernández. She will now represent Puerto Rico in Miss Universe 2018.
The 25-year-old diva performed with utmost grace and perfection at the finale. She loves to work out which is evident because of her perfect body. She absolutely loves kids and works for an organization named Centro Inés which provides different educational, recreational and support services for children and seniors to help develop a sense of independence, creativity and mastery of skills. She was a part of our Top 8 favourite contestants competing for the title.
At the finale, Miss Vega Baja Universe 2018 Alejandra Pagán and Miss Ponce Universe 2018 Alexandra Porrata were adjudged first and second runners-up respectively. Top 5 finalists of Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2018 included - Miss Rincon Universe 2018 Kiara Ortega, Miss Vega Baja Universe 2018 Alejandra Pagán, Miss Arecibo Universe 2018 Yuanelie Alvarado, Miss Ponce Universe 2018 Alexandra Porrata and Miss Fajardo Universe 2018 Larissa Santiago.
Twenty-nine gorgeous ladies competed for the national title as the night witnessed grace, elegance and beauty. Cepada Brothers performed at the event keeping the audience entertained as the contestants paraded in their gorgeous white outfits. The beauty gala was hosted by the presenter Jaime Mayol with the actress, model and Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2005, Cynthia Olavarría.
