The grand coronation of Miss Universe Sweden 2018 will be held on 23rd September 2018 at the Café Opera in Stockholm. The winner of the event will go on to represent Sweden in Miss Universe 2018 which will be held on 17th December 2018 where Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters will crown the new winner.

The winner will succeed Miss Universe Sweden 2017 Frida Fornander and will become the new Miss Universe Sweden 2018. The event will also witness the crowning of Miss International Sweden 2018 and Miss Bikini Universe Sweden 2018 who will become Sweden’s representatives in Miss International 2018 and Miss Bikini Universe 2018 respectively.

But before the finale, Angelopedia has selected the Top 5 contestants who are most likely to win the national title and go on to represent Sweden in Miss Universe 2018. These Top 5 contestants are as follows –

Medina Hajra

Medina is 19 years of age with a height of 169 cm. She is from Helsingborg. During her high school, Medina used to manage her studies as well as her modeling career. Medina calls herself confident, goal-oriented and a positive person. She believes that children deserve a good and free education as according to her everyone has the responsibility for the future generation.

Medina has had prior experience in the pageant world as she had participated in Miss Universe Kosovo 2016 as well where she was a runner-up. This experience has definitely helped her gain an insight in the requirements of the current beauty standards and will certainly work for her advantage.

Lina Ljungberg

Lina is 21 years of age and stands tall with a height of 174 cm. She is from Östergötland. Lina is a model and has collaborated with the likes of Caroline Svedbom, The Look in Linköping, LR Beauty 4 you and Wallderinska Sportswear. Lina has been dancing and singing since she was 5 years of age.

Lina wants people to feel safe in their own country and would like to reach out to people who are in need of guidance and security. She had previously represented Sweden in Miss International 2017 which gives her an edge over the other contestants.

Felizia Strandberg

Felizia is 23 years of age and stands tall with a height of 176 cm. She is from Skåne. Felizia works as a saleswoman in a wedding store named Jolie Bridal. She had suffered from bullying and eating disorders which she has now overcome. Felizia now wants to use this suffering and experience to help those who are in need.

Felizia was second runner-up in Miss Sweden 2016 which means that she has the knowledge of the requirements of the current beauty standards as well as about the pageant world. This will certainly help her during the finale of Miss Universe Sweden 2018.

Cloie Syquia Skarne

Cloie is 23 years of age with a height of 170 cm. She is from Sweden’s capital city, Stockholm. Cloie loves to travel and that has introduced her to different cultures and backgrounds. She calls herself a friendly and considerate person.

Cloie has had a lot of experience in the pageant world as she was Miss Earth Sweden 2016 and represented Sweden in Miss Earth 2016 where she was placed in the Top 8. She also won a silver medal in the National Costume round and a bronze medal in the Evening Gown. She will certainly woo the judges and make a mark in the pageant.

Daniella Lundqvist

Daniella is 18 years of age with a height of 175 cm. She is from Kalmar. Daniella is currently studying engineering science at the Academy of the Oscars. She desires to become a civil engineer. She is also a model who works for Sweden Model’s Agency.

Daniella has participated in Miss Universe Sweden 2017 where she was the 1st runner-up. She had also won Miss Multiverse Sweden 2017 and also won the title of Miss Photogenic in the pageant. Since she already has an insight of the pageant world, she will surely make a mark in Miss Universe Sweden 2018.
