The 65th edition of Miss Universe Puerto Rico i.e., Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2020, will be held in June 2020 where delegates from all over the country will compete for the national title and the chance to represent the country at Miss Universe 2020. Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2019 Madison Anderson of Toa Baja will crow her successor at the end of the event finale.
While the pageant is yet to begin, the pageant fanatics have begun to prepare their wish lists for the beautiful potential contestants who should give this year’s edition a go. One name which has made it to the list is Ediris Joan, one of the pre-candidates for Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2020 crown. The stunning beauty has already received a ‘call back’ to participate in the auditions for this year’s edition.
Ediris is a potential candidate for representing Puerto Rico at Miss Universe 2020 as she is spontaneous and has a very enchanting personality that can attract the jury and audience during the competition. She is a Pharmacy Tech and works as a professional model in Puerto Rico. She has worked with several designers and photographers which has earned her some experience and confidence to make her performance powerful and increase her chances to win the title.
Ediris believes that there is no shame in imperfection because quoting Shannon L. Alder, “History had shown being different had the power to change perspective and eventually the world.” She works very hard to be at the top of her game and would love to represent Puerto Rico at Miss Universe 2020 pageant. She feels blessed and honoured that the organization has called her back for the second round and she would give her best at the final round so that she is eligible for competing at Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2020.
Ediris Joan is an advocate of women empowerment and her social media posts are full of how much she wants the people especially women to believe that they should keep their heads up and fight for who they are and what they want to be. She wants them to understand their potential and be work towards being capable to achieve that. She is a positive and opportunist woman and since she is practicing social distancing as guided, she mentioned that she has started to appreciate the little things in life. She is proud of her culture and values that she would love to showcase on an international platform. “The darkest nights are the ones that offer the brightest sunrises, the only thing needed is to have enough faith to resist until dawn” she quoted.
Ediris wants to make everyone who has helped and supported her in her journey proud by winning the crown and representing Puerto Rico at Miss Universe 2020 stage. The diva has started to prepare for her journey at Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2020 by working on her on-stage walk, body postures, body angles, on-stage confidence and communication and interview skills. The diva is also working on maintaining her body healthy and fit for the event finale and preparing herself mentally as well as emotionally because it is needed too.
With her strong opinion and strong personality, Ediris Joan can be one of the strongest contenders for the win of the national crown and a place to represent Puerto Rico at Miss Universe 2020. Her strong belief in showing respect to one another and taking time to work on oneself in order to bloom or be a successful, she surly has a strong uphold at the position of the winner.
