Estefanía Soto Torres represented Puerto Rico at the Miss Universe 2020 pageant earlier this year, where she succeeded to secure a place among the Top 10 finalists, making her country proud. The diva is now onto a new endeavor as she joins the new ‘Fourth Power’ program as a part of the resources.
The lawyer and analyst, Jay Fonseca, released his new investigative program ‘Cuarto Poder’ (Fourth Power), which will air every Tuesday at 10:00 pm on Wapa Televisión. For a month Fonseca welcomed channel 4 as its new home and the details of the format were offered and who will accompany the graduate in the television space that will premiere on 31st August.
The big surprise was the integration of Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2020, Estefanía Soto Torres, to the television space. Apart from Estefania, Milly Méndez, who is the wife of journalist Julio Rivera Saniel, journalists Hermes Ayala, Ámbar Suárez, Laura Isabel González and Katriana Vélez also joined the team.
In the case of the Miss Universe Puerto Rico representative, her participation will focus on the disciplines she studied, specifically from a social perspective. “I thought I wasn't going to be nervous, but I am. I am happy and excited to be part of this program that allows me to reconnect with my academic preparation," said the Puerto Rican beauty, who has a bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages ??with a concentration in French from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, and an interdisciplinary master's degree in Intercultural Mediation with a Sociological, Anthropological and Gender Perspective approach from the European organization Erasmus Mundus.
“It is an honor to know that the work team trusts the content that I can contribute to the program and I have no doubt that together we will comprehensively impact the island's audience. For many it is a surprise to see me here, even for me, but it is time to prioritize and return to my academic and professional background. It is the moment to learn, to know and to challenge myself,” she added.
The selection of the team for the program was made by the communicator and by the journalist Yennifer Álvarez, under the house Jagual Media Production Company, name in reference to the origins of the lawyer in San Lorenzo. Estefania has chosen a new thread to continue weaving the fabric of my passions. She is very happy and truly grateful for the opportunity to be part of the research and analysis TV show.
