Vivianie Diaz-Arroyo is one of the names emerging as a potential delegate for the title of Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2022. Of soft demeanours and strong temperament, she has become a crowd favourite and is making into wishlists, both nationally and internationally.

Vivianie is a full-time student of the USC- School of Communications and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing and Event Production. The 22-year-old is a language enthusiast and is proficient in English, Spanish and the Sign Language.

She won everyone’s heart in December past year, when she gave her speech on ‘Preventing War and Violence’ in sign language on the finale night of Grand International 2021 and became an instant favourite with pageant fanatics all around the world.  

In the recent past, she finished as the third runner up on the 9th edition of Miss Grand International and won the Miss Grand Puerto Rico 2021 title. Previously, she was placed among the Top 10 at Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2019, where she received the special award for Best Total Look and the L'Oreal Woman of Valor award for her work in support of the deaf community. She has also won Miss Pre-teen Model Fashion, Miss Latin International, TBC Orlando and Miss Teen Universe representing the USA.

With such an extensive portfolio as a pageant veteran, Diaz can be Puerto Rico’s best bet for the Miss Universe crown. Earlier this year, Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2021 Michelle Colón represented the country at the international platform. Michelle gave a strong performance and went on to secure in the Top 10 of the event.
