Miss Universe Slovenskej Republiky 2017 is heading towards its finale and scheduled to be held on 15th July 2017. All the contestants are super excited for the competition and working hard to engrave their names on the coveted title of Miss Universe Slovenskej Republiky. The winner will then get a chance to represent her country at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant.

12 gorgeous ladies from different provinces will compete for the title. Events and activities are already going on for the contestants so as to prepare them for the finale. They also participated in the inauguration of Park Film Fest International Film Festival Trencianske Teplice at the scene of the Kúpele Zelenážaba. Every one of them looked stunning in their bright color outfits.

Slovenskej Republiky has never won the title of Miss Universe. Only in the year 1994, Silvia Lakatošová managed to reach in top 6 and in the year 1998, Vladimíra Hrenovcíková won the special award “Miss Photogenic”. This year all the contestants are ready to give tough competition at the finale of Miss Universe 2017.

Miss Universe Slovenskej Republiky or Miss Slovak Republic is an annual beauty pageant held in Slovak Republic to select the country's representative to the Miss Universe pageant since 1994.Miss Slovensko was formed in 1993 after the dissolution of Czechoslovakia. From 1993 to 1995, the winner went to Miss Universe and the runners-up went to Miss World and Miss International.

Miss Universe Slovenskej Republiky titleholders represent their country at the Miss Universe, Miss Earth and Miss Intercontinental pageant.
