On June 29, the August Auditorium of the Palau Firal i de Congressos de Tarragona will become the setting for the Miss Universe Spain 2018 (Miss Universo España2018) coronation gala. Twenty candidates will compete for the crown of Miss Universe Spain2018, which will open the doors for them to participate in the Miss Universe 2018 pageant.

The organization highlights that the gala has an expected duration of three hours, starting at 20:00 hrs (UTC+2) and ending at 23:00 hrs (UTC+2) approximately, in which different musical performances will be interspersed with the parades of the candidates for the various judging rounds like swimsuit, evening gown, etc. Tickets for the event will go on sale on 31st May, 2018, at 17:30 hrs (UTC+2).

During the ceremony, the successor of Miss Universe Spain 2017 Sofia del Prado will be announced.

The organizers also added that, on the occasion of the event, Tarragona will host various personalities of the entertainment industry, special guests, presenters and singers.

The castings began on Saturday, April 7, at the Holmes Place Montecarmelo facilities: Calle del Monasterio de Arlanza, 20, 28049 Madrid.

The second casting took place in Barcelone, and the final 2 castings were supposed to take place in Malaga and Valencia. Unfortunately, in order to speed up the casting process, and announce the finalists soon, the organizers had to decide against these castings, and name two different cities.
