Sri Lanka is all set to find a new queen who will represent the country in Miss Universe 2019 as the registrations for the same are now open. The national pageant of Miss Universe Sri Lanka 2019 will witness gorgeous beauties from all over Sri Lanka competing for the coveted national crown. Ornella Gunesekere Miss Universe Sri Lanka 2018 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

The rules of participation for the national pageant are as follows –

-Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka

-Must be at least 18 years of age and under 28 years of age as of 1st January 2019.

-An applicant could have participated in one or more than one international pageants but cannot be a current title holder or 1st runner-up in any other international pageants.

-Must never have been married nor given birth to a child.

The winner will be entitled to an all expenses paid stay at the Miss Universe site, whilst participating at the most prestigious national competition. The entries for the same will close on 30th June 2019.

Ornella Gunesekere Miss Universe Sri Lanka 2018 represented Sri Lanka in Miss Universe 2018. Unfortunately, she could not find a place in the Top at the grand finale of the international pageant. With the hopes of winning the first-ever Miss Universe crown, the delegates will have to stretch to the extra mile in preparing for the competition.
