Former Miss Universe and a leading actress in the Indian film industry, Sushmita Sen, has paved her way on her own and made a successful career for herself. She recently made headlines with the successful portrayal of her lead character in a series names ‘Aarya’.
Sushmita Sen is now all set to portray the lead role in an upcoming biopic. Thr project will be produced by Dhaakad maker Deepak Mukut, however further details have been kept under wraps.
Sushmita's fans have been waiting for the actor's comeback on the big screen. She was last seen in director Srijit Mukherji's Bengali film Nirbaak in 2015. Deepak Mukut of Soham Rockstar Entertainment and Mansi Bagla of Mini Films have collaborated once again on massive project.
Sushmita Sen rose to fame when she became the first Indian to win Miss Universe crown in 1994. After the Times Group relinquished the rights to choose the Indian representative to Miss Universe, Sen's project, I Am She – Miss Universe India ran it for three years (2010 to 2012) before Femina Miss India took over.
