On this day, exactly 25 years ago, history was made when Sushmita Sen was crowned Miss Universe 1994, winning the coveted title for her country, India, for the first time ever. The gorgeous model, actress, beauty queen, business woman and philanthropist has achieved so much in the last 25 years that it is almost impossible to put it in one frame.
Sushmita shared the heartfelt love she received from her family and fans on her social media on the same occasion and it is safe to say that she loves her followers as much as they love them. The diva participated in Miss Universe after winning the national title of Femina Miss India and proved her capabilities, being just a teenager. Later in 2017, she again joined Miss Universe but this time as a member of the jury.
Sushmita’s partner Rohman Shawl also congratulated his lady love as he took to social media to post a major throwback photo of Sushmita and alongside the picture, he wrote, “25 years of owning the universe.” Later, Sushmita Sen replied to boyfriend in the sweetest way possible as she wrote, “I love you.”
