Moa Sandberg crowned Miss Universe Sweden 2021

The Miss Universe Sweden organization hosted the 12th edition of the national pageant, i.e., Miss Universe Sweden 2021 on 30tth October 2021 at the Clarion Hotel Post, Göteborg, Sweden, where stunning delegates from all over the country competed against each other for the national crown. At the end of the event, Moa Sandberg was crowned as the new queen as she succeeded Miss Universe Sweden 2019 Lina Ljungberg for the title.

 

 

25 years-old Moa stands 180cm tall and is a Swedihs business woman, model and beauty queen. She is also a life coach and personal assistant. Not new to pageantry, Moa has previously represented Sweden at Miss International 2014, where she finished unplaced. She is also fluent in Svenska, Finnish and English. Along with the national title, the diva was also awarded with the Miss Personality Sweden 2021 title.

Second runner-up - Sofia Sjoberg

The top 5 also included Beatrice Joanna and Daniella Lundqvist. The newly crowned queen, Moa Sandberg bested 15 other finalists for the title. She will now start her preparations for the international stint to represent Sweden at the 70th Miss Universe pageant.

Sweden returns this year to the Miss Universe stage after skipping the 2020 edition, earlier this year. The withdrawal happened due to the travel restrictions caused by the global pandemic, COVID-19. The last time, Sweden competed was under the delegation of Miss Universe Sweden 2019 Lina Ljungberg at the Miss Universe 2019 pageant, where she finished unplaced. This year, Miss Universe 2021 will be the 70th Miss Universe pageant, to be held on 12th December 2021 in Eilat, Israel. The reigning queen, Miss Universe 2020 Andrea Meza of Mexico will crown her successor at the end of the event.
