Switzerland returns to Miss Universe after 3 years

The Miss Universe Switzerland organization is all set to return to the international platform after absence for three years. The organization has officially opened the applications for this year’s national pageant on their website. This year’s winner will succeed Miss Universe Switzerland 2018 Jastina Doreen Riederer for the title to represent the country at Miss Universe 2022.

 “After many years of absence, Switzerland is once again taking part in the most prestigious beauty contest in the world! This return to the forefront of the international scene will culminate in the coronation in September 2022 of the future Miss Universe,” they shared. The Miss Universe Switzerland competition brings together Swiss candidates for a human adventure rich in discoveries and encounters to try their luck for the opportunity to represent Switzerland at the Miss Universe stage.

The requirements for aspirants to apply for the competition include –

Being of Swiss nationality and have a valid passport at least until January 1, 2024

Having resided in Switzerland for at least six months before January 1 of the year of participation

Being at least 18 and under 28 on January 1 of the year of participation

Not being married or having an annulled marriage. (Unmarried, un-divorced, no children)

The competition offers a unique opportunity which opens many doors for the candidates. Through the competition preparation process, the organization helps in honing skills, while giving life skills that can take an individual beyond the competition.
