Miss Universe 2016 finale was an amazing night of surprises and concluded with the crowning of Iris Mittenaere of France. The 65th edition of the Miss Universe pageant was held in the Philippines, and it sure was a great experience for the viewers, as well as the contestants, why else would the girls stay back to enjoy the beauty of the country?
Miss Universe Thailand 2016 Chalita Suansane was back to Philippines on Saturday to start up her new role as the tourism ambassador for her country. Chalita posted a picture on her instagram and this time it looked the beauty queen is travelling light. Last month, Chalita travelled with 17 luggage while flying to Philippines for the Miss Universe pageant.
Chalita is in Philippines as the tourism ambassador for Thailand. The beauty queen also made an appearance at a travel expo held at SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. "I feel so lucky and so happy to be here and meet all my fans. I love everyone," said Chalita. The beauty queen also promoted her country’s scenic beauty and urged the Filipinos to visit Thailand to experience its rich cultural heritage and amazing food.
The Thai beauty also talked about her experience of the Miss Universe pageant and said that she was a little disappointed that she only managed to finish among the top six of the Miss Universe competition. Chalita is currently pursuing her studies in Microbiology from the Mahasarakham University. She loves to explore and experiment and has a great interest in discovering about the microscopic life and its features.
Chalita is associated with the ‘Baan Home Hug’ organization which supports abused, and HIV affected children. Besides HIV awareness, the gorgeous wants to empower young women to follow their dreams, fulfill their passions, have self-respect, as well as be compassionate towards others to look beautiful inside-out.
