Newly crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2017 Maria Poonlertlarp Ehren could not help but express her admiration for Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach when they met in Bangkok on Tuesday. Maria was crowned on 29th July 2017 and she is now excited to represent Thailand at Miss Universe 2017 scheduled to be held in November this year.
Maria Ehren joined Pia Wurtzbach at the Women’s Journey Thailand reception party, Bangkok. They both looked gorgeous in their respective black colour outfits.
“Is this really my dinner date? “gushed Maria Ehren by posting a picture with Pia Wurtzbach on Instagram just after the event. Pia also shared some tips with her for winning the title of Miss Universe 2017.
Fifty-six well-known women celebrities and bloggers from all around the world attended the Women’s Journey Thailand 2017 Campaign which is launched to boost female visitors at a gala welcome reception at Nai Lert Heritage House in the heart of Bangkok.
It is a month-long campaign which is designed to attract international and local female travellers to visit Thailand and enhance the kingdom’s positive image as one of Asia’s most female friendly destinations.
Thailand has also recorded a significant rise in female visitors over the past few years and so as to enhance it more the organisation has classified the products and services for women travellers into seven categories: accommodation (hotels and resorts); health, beauty and spa services; shopping malls, dining and restaurants; recreation and entertainment; such as, theme parks; lifestyle activities; such as, handicraft workshops and fitness, and transportation services; such as, airlines and car rentals.
