Paweensuda Drouin was crowned the queen of Miss Universe Thailand 2019 on 29th June 2019, as it was already predicted. She was one of the strongest and loved contestants this year. Already winning two special awards of Perfect Pose and Best in Swimsuit at the preliminary competition, Paweensuda already established a strong foothold in the contest. The 25-year-old was also the winner of the Golden Tiara ticket as she made it to the Hot Picks of every pageant fanatic. She also won the award of Miss Popular Vote, with a lot of votes from her fans.
Jennifer Paweensuda Saetan-Drouin was born on 12 October 1993. She was born in Thailand, but grew up in Canada. She is often affectionately referred to by her Thai nickname Fahsai. After finishing high school, Paweensuda enrolled in the University of Calgary in Calgary, Alberta. In 2017, she graduated summa cum laude with a degree in kinesiology. Paweensuda moved from Canada to Bangkok in Thailand as an adult, in order to work as a DJ.
The beauty queen has a lot of experience in the pageantry as she began her journey in Miss Thailand Chinese Cosmos 2013 where she placed as the second runner-up. Then she participated in Miss Chinese Cosmos Southeast Asia 2013 where she again placed in the Top 8. The same year, she also participated in Miss Thailand 2013 and was adjudged the first runner-up. In 2017, Fahsai Paweensuda participated in Miss Universe Thailand 2017 and won the place of second runner-up. She was then appointed Miss Earth Thailand 2017 and with her incredible performance in Miss Earth 2017, she placed in the Top 8. There’s no doubt that the gorgeous beauty queen has immense talent and experience when it comes to pageants and she might as well win this one with all her previous achievements’ help. Not just her experience and beauty, Fahsai Paweensuda also has an amazing personality as she talks with fluency and grace.
The diva is now all set to represent the country at the grand Miss Universe 2019. She is preparing her well for the international competition. Paweensuda’s journey towards Miss Universe 2019 have been a stint as she went to many places after she was titled, and her followings increased in numbers. People are admiring the queen and she have been like a limelight in between them. The diva went on with her advocacies and works while moving forward in the pace. She went on for many occasions in her hometown and experiences a lot of things. One of the occasions was of the 40th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Colombia, where the diva got the honour to participate and to commemorate the occasion. She took it to her official Instagram page and quoted “I would like to thank the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for giving me the honour to participate in today’s auspicious occasion to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Colombia. I am also delighted to learn that “FEALAC” or the Forum for East Asia and Latin America Cooperation, which is the only forum for intergovernmental cooperation that connects the East Asian and Latin American regions, has reached its 20th Anniversary this year. I am heartened to learn that FEALAC attaches great importance to promoting gender equality and the empowerment of women, as this will make a crucial contribution towards inclusive growth and sustainable development. The measure of true progress in a society should not be measured in terms of economic indicators alone but should take into account the happiness, social contentment and equality among all members of its society.”
The diva, also did a lot of charity deeds and helped people and children out. She even went to Ubon Ratchathani province helping the flood victims with her one of the projects called ‘We are One’. They also visited the volunteers who help to make food, put together as well as distribute survival kits to villagers who have been affected by the flood. The diva was also honored to be a part of the gala dinner performance known as “Khon” to welcome the leaders of ASEAN and G8 to the 35th ASEAN Summit held at Impact Muang Thong Thani, happened recently in the month of November.
Paweensuda is herself a fashionista, she is very much interested in fashion and it comes to be the best whenever she wears anything. Her style and her way of carrying herself is also marvelous. Now the stunning diva is waiting for her best ever national costume which is in process and will be revealed soon.
