Miss Universe Thailand 2021 will be the 22nd edition of Miss Universe Thailand pageant to be held in Bangkok in October 2021. Miss Universe Thailand 2020 Amanda Obdam of Phuket will crown her successor at the end of the event as the winner will represent Thailand at the Miss Universe 2021 competition in Israel this December.
The organization held the press conference for the 2021 edition yesterday, where the schedule for the competition was announced. Apart from the official schedule, the organization also introduced coaches for this year’s edition, where Polfah Punika Kulsoontornrut was appointed as the Runway Coach for Miss Universe Thailand 2021.
Punika, who was adjudged as the second runner-up at the Miss Universe Thailand 2020 competition, was also appointed as the new division manager of Miss Universe Thailand in October 2020. She took over the duties after her reign and crown duties.
28 years-old Punika is not new to the pageantry as she was a part of Miss Earth Water 2013 and Miss International 2014 where she was adjudged as the second runner-up at the end of the event finale. She has worked with various designers and brands in Thailand to gain experience and knowledge about the beauty pageants that has helped her to finesse her work more.
Polfah has always desired to live in a world with peace and empowered women. She has always used her platform to empower people especially young women to follow their dreams and ambitions in life just like her. She believes that until and unless one works hard and focuses on their dreams and goals, they will never be able to achieve them.
The diva takes her fitness very seriously and makes sure that she workouts every day and maintain her body. She has been very consistent with her on-stage walk, posture, speech, angles, and socializing. She is one of the most popular models in Thailand.
Polfah believes that the moment one doubts their dreams is the moment they lose, so one should keep pushing and shouldn’t let imperfections lead you off your path of perfecting yourself. She will definitely be an inspirational force for the candidates this year. She explains that every opportunity she has held onto has helped her to shape up better as a model as well as a person for which she is very proud of. She is extremely ecstatic with her new appointment and is elated to meet the girls.
This year, the Miss Universe Thailand stage will waive the ‘red’ flag that will symbolize the winner. There is also a movement that is like a gesture of a woman who is elegant, humble, and intelligent and conveys the concept of ‘Power of Passion’ or ‘A powerful woman. On the path of victory’, to awaken confidence and determination to be strong and to send out this powerful force to be manifested to the world.
