Miss Universe Thailand 2022, the national preliminary of Thailand to Miss Universe 2022, will be held this year as delegates from all over the country will compete for the national crown. Miss Universe Thailand 2021 Anchilee Scott-Kemmis will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

While the official delegates are yet to be announced, Perpetua Sermsup Smith has been confirmed to apply for Miss Universe Thailand 2022. Perpetua is a professional international model who has worked in various countries like the United States, France, Thailand and the United Kingdom.

Smith received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a Minor in International Studies, a concentration in Digital Marketing and Marketing Communications, and a concentration in Sports and Service Marketing from Siena College in 2019. In 2020, she received a Masters in Business Administration from Liberty University. In July of 2021, she received a Creative Director Certificate from IFA Paris.

Most recently, I became TELF Certified from the TEFL institute of Ireland in order to be qualified to teach English abroad. Currently, she is working as a pharmacy technician while studying to take the GMAT in hopes of potentially applying to the Marking Ph.D. Program at Harvard University.

Perpetua Sermsup Smith wants to compete and win Miss Universe Thailand. She is working hard and saving money to make this dream become a reality. The stunning beauty is planning on moving to Thailand in the beginning of 2022 to solidify her dream. She is also continuing her studies into Thai history, politics, religion, culture and language to better connect her to the community.

Smith’s advocacy is education through which she wants to spread awareness. She says, “Volunteer teaching in Thailand is a powerful way that I will be able to make a difference. Teaching English will be the ultimate goal of volunteering. Through establishing a strong grasp of the English language, students in Thailand will be able to access greater opportunities in terms of further education and careers.” If she stays determined and continues her hard work, Smith will be a strong contender for the national crown this year.
