Due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, Miss Ukraine organization conducted zoom-interviews and appointed Angelina Usanova as the new Miss Universe Ukraine 2023 who will now represent her country at Miss Universe 2023.

The organization was unable to hold a pageant with a war going on. After consulting the Miss Universe organization, the decision was made to conduct the selection of a representative from Ukraine in the mode of online interviews and online voting of the jury.

Angelina is currently staying in the USA and her official coronation ceremony will be held sometime later in August in Kyiv. She is a singer-songwriter and musician, who uses music as healing in her concerts & charity drives.

Angelina also holds a nutrition degree and after completing her studies in Austria and India, she obtained the title of yoga master. Through her continuous efforts, the stunning beauty has raised and donated funds for Ukraine's war refugee crisis. The stunning beauty is a multilingual who speaks 7 languages.

Miss Universe 2023, the 72nd edition of Miss Universe, will be held in El Salvador on 18th November 2023 where Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel of USA will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
