Victoria Blair Rhemrev is an Indonesian-American model who was crowned Miss Illinois Teen USA 2020 and will be competing for the title in November 2020. She is first Indonesian- American model to win the title of Miss Illinois Teen USA. With recent rumours going around, Victoria could be a potential delegate to represent Indonesia at Miss Universe stage in future.
Victoria is 17-years-old and stands 175 cm tall. She was born in Hartford, Connecticut, United States to a father of Indonesian descent and mother of American descent. Victoria and her family moved to the Midwestern United States in 2004. She is pursuing Marine Biology program from Duke University. She is an active public speaker at a global forum such as the UNESCO Global Environment Forum 2019, bringing environmental research issues related to "Micro-Pollution Contamination Plastic in the Ocean". As the grandson of an Indonesian immigrant, Victoria tried to bring the same inspiration to the beauty contest, ethnic diversity, religion, and tolerance in the Illinois state.
Victoria also works as a member of the UN-Goodwill Ambassador for underprivileged and neglected children, besides she also established a Non-governmental organization (NGO) in 2019, called "Sheets from A Princess”, where the organization focuses on mental health and awareness for children who are fighting cancer. Victoria has also collaborated with the Illinois Department of Human Services in the medical field. Victoria takes pride in being a well-rounded community leader. She enjoys spending time supporting local charities as well as contributing through her own initiatives.
As a titleholder, she wants to be remembered as the multi-ethnic three-sport athlete, the princess at the hospital, and the proud protector of the ocean. For Victoria, her new role meant new ways to crush stereotypes. Long before competing in pageants, athletics set the stage for Victoria’s love of performing at a high level. As an accomplished three-sport student-athlete, she’s no stranger to challenging both her mental and physical strength. As a result, Victoria has gained recognition as a medallist, a two-time state qualifier in track, and a two-time national qualifier in softball and volleyball.
Victoria has worked with various designers and brands in US to gain experience as well as knowledge about beauty pageants which will help her in future. She is confident, determined, and dedicated to win the title and help to change the society. Someone like Victoria could be a potential delegate to represent Indonesia at Miss Universe stage. Even though she has lived most of her life in the US but Victoria embraces the other part of herself equally which includes the Indonesian cultural values. The diva who is an active public speaker uses her social media account to advocate about self-love and women empowerment as she believes that one must believe in oneself before taking on challenges.
If Victoria ever decides to participate at Miss Universe stage and represent Indonesia, the countrymen would not only be proud of her but also accept her with open arms and hearts. The diva could be a tough competition for the future queens as she is beautiful, confident, and strong with her goals and dreams. She has been working very hard to win the title of Miss Teen USA 2020 and would give her best shot at Miss Universe too.
