Miss Earth Philippines 2020 Talent Competition (Sports Wear Category) winners announced

Miss Earth Philippines 2020, the first virtual edition of Miss Earth Philippines, has begun with its preliminary competition as for the first time ever, a winner will be crowned virtually to represent Philippines at Miss Earth 2020. The winner will succeed Miss Earth Philippines 2019 Janelle Lazo Tee who represented Philippines at Miss Earth 2019.

The Talent competition (sportswear category) was held on 16th June 2020 where the contestants showed their creative sportswear from their own homes. The competition was conducted via the Zoom meeting platform, where delegates showcased their beautiful beach wear from their own respective locations. They were judged by Miss Earth Fire 2019 Alisa Manyonok, Ruby Gan; fashion retailer and member of Philippines’ Powerlifting Team, Red Madrid; news producer and Tristan Franscisco; journalist and publisher of the Philippines Pageantry page. The event was hosted by Miss Philippines Fire 2019 Alexandra Dayrit. Here are the winners of the category –

Gold - Rizza Paula Infante of La Castellana, Negros Occidental

Rizza Paula won the first position or a gold award at the sports wear competition. She wore a swim wear for the competition and explained that swimming has taught her to be resilient in her life as an athlete she has to train every day and balancer her life accordingly.

Silver - Miah Llanes of Fil-Dubai, UAE

Miag Llanes won the second position or a silver award at the sports wear competition. She wore a biker outfit for the competition and explained a little about her advocacy which is about environmental education.

Bronze - June Cyra Pineda of Talacogon, Agusan del Sur

June Cyra won the third position or a bronze award at the sports wear competition. She wore cyclist outfit and explained that it is important to eat healthy and maintain oneself for the future. She advised people to pick cycle as a sport because it’s healthy and active.
