H'Hen Niê was crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 and represented Vietnam at Miss Universe 2018 on 17th December 2018 at IMPACT Arena, Muang Thong Thani in Nonthaburi Province, northern suburb of Bangkok Thailand. She finished at the Top 5 placement at the end of the event finale. The diva is considered as one of the most successful and humble beauty queens from Vietnam.
The beauty queen from Vietnam has started to record her day-to-day activities and put them out on YouTube for her fans and followers to see how she lives her life. The diva has recently shared a vlog that showcases her journey of processing rustic dishes from her son on the days she and her family go on holiday. She has already put up vlogs on her YouTube channel for the audience on how to make simple dishes such as: chia seed dew, chia seeds, mango salt, chili, cucumber smoothie, fake papaya as well as introducing a vegetable garden.
The new vlog, “Hen grooving with a boy” is where the diva takes the difficulty to next level and decided to go directly to the river to find clams. Manually processing a tray of food made from mussels like soup Sour, grilled mussels with salt and chili, stir-fried chili with lemongrass.
She introduced the vlog by, "Today I will catch boys. But people do not misunderstand, I took my son back from the river to cook to eat, not to catch a boy. I want to catch and then process the boy myself. I'm from a mountain forest but I love to eat seafood. Therefore, I really like to wander around and catch snails and crabs. Besides the boy, I used to explore crab in the past, I really liked to go hunting crabs, but right now it's not the rainy season so I have to catch boys."
The place H'Hen Niê chose to catch mussels is a large lake in the mountains where she lives, where there are many mussels and shrimp. Although the lake water is very deep and cold, H'Hen Nie does not hesitate to go barefoot to find mussels. The diva carefully moved her feet back and forth to look for each son lying in the mud. Whenever a son was discovered, she dumpedits body into the water to catch him and then puts it in her hat. Just like that, after only a few hours of diving under the water like a true farmer, H'Hen Nie caught hundreds of sons on her own by weight, making everyone surprised.
One of the unique things of H’Hen Nie that caught everyone’s attention is the fact that even after being so successful and popular, the diva dared to wade through the water for several hours to catch boys or clams without fear of danger. This shows how connected and real she is to her roots. She wants to build her own image of self-reliance with healthy and old people and that’s why she tries to do everything by her own and not purchase anything from the market.
After catching the boys, H'Hen Nie brought them home one night to clean the mud and then process it. The next day, she went to the forest to climb guava trees, break mangoes, break figs to make raw materials for processing mussels.
At the end of the clip, H'Hen Ni explained why skin is getting darker. She said: " In the countryside, I had to go to the forest, go to the fields, wade the river, wade the field, do so many things that made it blacker and worse. When I came back to the city, I would rejuvenate my skin. At that time, my skin will stretch the ball ".
