Miss Universe Vietnam 2022, the 5th edition of the Miss Universe Vietnam, will be held on 25th June 2022 at SECC, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Miss Universe Vietnam 2019 Nguyen Tran Khánh Vân will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
While the 41 contestants competing for this year’s edition boast of talent, skills and passion towards the national crown, some divas have stood out as strong and potential front runners for the title, throughout the competition.
So, without any further ado, here are our Top 10 favorites for Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 –
Thao Nhi Le
Thao Nhi is a young Vietnamese woman studying international fashion retail at the University of Reutlingen. Hailing from Ulm, a small city in Germany, her heart lies in Hanoi. The diva is also the founder, chief content creator and creative head of the brand ‘Daphale’, established in 2014.
Thao Nhi believes that, “Fashion is omnipotent, and yet it’s never dull or boring. Instead, fashion is a form of art that lives through humans, a breathing concept that keeps on giving and that connects us with one another, which celebrates our differences. In other words, fashion is a medium for self-expression and the spiritual bond to nature that connects us all.”
Ngô Bao Ngoc
Hailing from Thành pho Ho Chí Minh, Ho Chí Minh city, Ngoc has studied at Thpt Nguyen Khuyon Secondary school. She is currently working as a professional model and an entrepreneur as the founder of the brand ‘Firewood’.
More popularly known as Ngoc Mint, she is currently a 3rd year student at Vietnam Aviation Academy. She loves travelling, especially love going to the beach and is afraid of ghosts but very addicted to watching horror movies. Ngoc’s beauty is very real and impressive and regardless of other people’s opinions Bao Ngoc still confidently follows the style she has chosen, because that is herself and her own personality.
Ngoc Chau
Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau is 27 years old and is a Vietnamese beauty and fashion model , who won the Vietnam 's Next Top Model 2016 Champion , was crowned Miss Supranational Vietnam 2018. She represented Vietnam at the Miss Supranational 2019 pageant and finished among the Top 10 with the title of Miss Supranational Asia 2019.
Standing 174cm tall, the diva is a graduate from Ton Duc Thang University. Her father died early, leaving her mother to raise three children alone, from a young age Ngoc Chau had the desire to become a professional model.
Huong Ly Nguyen
The stunning Huong Ly Nguye^n is emerging as one of the top favourites this year. The diva is the co-founder of Tran Hung, a fashion label amongst the well-established brands in the high-end luxury fashion market, captivating his audience with his sophisticated designs by pushing the envelope of design.
Nguyen is also the ambassador of Empower Women Asia, a cast member at Vietnam Why Not - Ði Vit Nam Ði, a runway coach at beU Academy and mentor at Model Kid Vietnam. She is returning to the contest after two unsuccessful attempts - in 2017 and 2019. She is determined and passionate towards the title.
Le Hoang Phuong
After a highly appreciated and loved stint at the national pageant in 2019, Le^ Hoa`ng Phuong is back for some unfinished business. 26 years-old Hoa`ng hails from Cam Ranh city, Khanh Hoa province. She is a graduate, majoring in Architecture, from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. Apart from academics, the diva is a professional model, which does not only bring her income but also helps her practice many skills and increase her living capital.
Not new to pageantry, Hoa`ng finished among the Top 10 finalists of Miss Universe Vietnam 2019 and also won the Best Face and Miss Beach titles. She is experienced, determined and passionate towards representing the country and is definitely proving to be a strong contender for the title.
Hoang Nhu My
Former The Face Vietnam 2018 contestant, Hoang Nhu My has been impressive throughout the journey with her naturally curly hair and the story of her missing fingers. She is a freelance model, influsencer and a student at the Judicial Academy of Ho Chi Minh City.
The reason Nhu My chose to compete at Miss Universe is because she feels this is the contest that best suits her personality and personality. Nhu My is confident that she is beautiful and has a useful life. “I will fight hard. In addition to costumes and skills, I am also mentally prepared to learn and improve myself. Of course, even if I don’t win the top position, I will still be happy, because I have learned a lot of things and have inspired so many people,” she shared.
Nguyen Le Nam
Ho Chi Minh City’s Nguyen Le Nam is an academic stands out for herself in a unique way and always occupies the spotlight no matter what position with her strong looks and personality. While her sincerity and gentleness helped Le Nam win the hearts of the audience, her confidence and spirit of rolling have created the premise for her to continuously outshine at the challenges in the contest. Many beauty fans consider Le Nam to be one of the strong candidates for the title this year.
Thuy Tien Huynh Pham
Thuy Tien stands 172cm tall and is the Miss Foreign Trade University of Ho Chi Minh City. After a period of self-improvement and the necessary performance skills, Thuy Tien decided to challenge herself with this year’s contest. Talent, beauty and knowledge are the strengths that help Thuy Tien become a top candidate.
She graduated with a degree in Economics from Foreign Trade University. Thuy Tien wishes to convey the message of the diverse beauty of women. She said, “I realize every woman is born to love herself, constantly changing to become the best version of herself. Not only my appearance, I also develop my knowledge.”
Dieu Linh Pham
Pham Dieu Linh is a familiar face to the audience, a famous lookbook model. Standing 168cm tall, Dieu Linh was born and raised in Vinh Phuc. In addition to challenging herself, Dieu Linh also cherished the dream of building a community nursing home.
Her profile quickly received attention of the pageant fans even before she registered for the competition. Dieu Linh always tries every day to be the best version of herself and reminds herself to always be kind, meaningful, and love those around her.
Bui Ly Thien Huong
Standing 174 cm tall, An Giang-born Thien Huong is another pageant veteran as she was crowned Miss Vietnam Worldwide 2018 and was also awarded the sub-award ‘Talented Beauty’ for demonstrating her singing ability. She has previously impressed the pageantry with her fluent English.
The diva believes, “The biggest difficulty for me is to overcome myself. In life, there are many temptations for young people, so I always keep an optimistic spirit to overcome it. I always try and always want to improve myself to convey my own story to and change the lives of young people. That is the goal that I have set and that is also the biggest difficulty for me."
