Miss Universe Zambia 2019 held its coronation night hours ago, where Didia Mukwala was crowned the new queen. After being crowned, she earned the right to represent Zambia at Miss Universe 2019. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Universe Zambia 2018 Melba Shakabozha.

Didia is a 26-year-old Zambian model who hails from Lusaka, Zambia. Being an experienced beauty, she first participated at the Miss Heritage International Zambia 2015 after she signed up to compete. She won and was given the right to represent Zambia at the Miss Heritage International 2015 in New Delhi and made it to the Top 10 and won two awards; Best National Costume and Best Body. She also competed at Miss Zambia 2015 and ended up as a finalist.

The newly crowned beauty later returned to pageantry when she participated at the Miss Universe Zambia 2017 pageant and ended up being placed as a finalist and won Miss Personality award at the conclusion.

Since she had a lot of experience earlier, her chances of winning the crown were much more than the other beauties in the pageant. She proved her worth with elegance and made her country proud once again.

The pageant was carried out in an organised layout and format and ended up crowning the most deserving beauty as the new queen and witnessed various exemplary performances and glamour all around.
