Mutya Pilipinas 2019, earlier known as Mutya ng Pilipinas, held its coronation night on 18th August 2019 under the leadership of Cory Quirino as the 51st edition of the national pageant. At the end of the event finale, Klyza Castro was crowned Mutya Pilipinas - Asia Pacific International 2019 as she became the official representative of Philippines in Miss Asia Pacific International 2019. Klyza Castro succeeds and was crowned by Miss Asia Pacific International Philippines 2018 Sharifa Akeel.

Klyza Castro represented Davao City at the contest. The gorgeous beauty performed with excellence and grace and proved to everyone she is every bit worthy of the crown. The Filipino beauty will have a lot of pressure to perform at the upcoming international contest as the reigning queen is from Philippines itself.
From the forty contestants who began their journey a few weeks ago, the first cut of Top 20 was made which included - Mariah Gelina Lequin, Karla Claudine Lasquite, Ella Cayabyab, Louise Janica An, Andrea Acibo, Andrea Fe Gomez, Keinth Jensen Petrasanta, Ysabel Napiza, Tyra Rae Goldman, Cyrille Payumo, Nina Angeli Bernedo, Lesley Anne Ticaro, Klyza Castro, Irish Silades, Dionne Sade' Nicha, Jigg Kirsty Ang, Maria Angelica Pantaliano, Camille Maha Marie Fabro, April May Short and Maxinne Nicole Rangel.
The gorgeous beauties paraded in their evening gowns and swimsuits as the list was shortlisted to Top 12 which included Lesley Anne Ticaro, Cyrille Payumo, Dionne Sade' Nicha, Andrea Fe Gomez, Keinth Jensen Petrasanta, Louise Janica An, April May Short, Ysabel Napiza, Karla Claudine Lasquite, Tyra Rae Goldman, Klyza Castro and Maxinne Nicole Rangel.

The Top 10 was then cut down to Top 6 from which the final titles were awarded after the rigorous question and answer round with the accomplished panel of jury.
Apart from the aforementioned title, April May Short was crowned Mutya Pilipinas World Top Model Philippines 2019, Tyra Goldman was crowned Mutya Pilipinas Tourism International 2019 and Louise Janica Arroyo An was crowned Mutya Pilipinas Overseas Communities 2019. Cyrille Payumo was adjudged the first runner-up while Maxinne Nicole Rangel was awarded the position of the second runner-up.
