Natividad Leiva crowned Miss Universe Chile 2017

Miss Universe Chile 2017 (Miss Universo Chile 2017) grand finale was held on 19th October 2017 and at the conclusion of the finale, Natividad Leiva was crowned as the winner and will now be the Chilean representative for Miss Universe 2017. She succeeds Miss Universe Chile 2016, Catalina Cáceres and bested 14 other beauties competing for the title. Natividad is 25 years of age and stands tall at an impressive height of 180 cm.

She also competed in Miss Universe Chile 2016 last year and was a whisker away from winning the title finishing as first runner-up at the finale which was won by Catalina Cáceres. Prior to that in 2015, she was crowned Miss Earth Chile 2015 and successfully competed in Miss Earth 2015 ending amongst Top 8 finalists besides winning the Miss Earth 2015 Group 1 Evening Gown competition. She has also represented Chile at Miss United Continents 2015, though she remained unplaced at the finale.

Her court included Valentina Schnitzer (first runner-up), Ingrid Aceitón (second runner-up), Gabriela Castro (third runner-up) and María José Besoain (fourth runner-up). The first runner-up Valentina was also a contestant last year in Miss Universe Chile 2016, where she finished as the second runner-up and prior to that she has represented Chile in Miss Supranational 2015.

Remaining competing candidates were Karen Rojas, Valentina Urrejola, Rosario Ossa, Isidora Moren, Bárbara Aracena, Ruth Gásquez, Camila Arnes, Amelia Herrera, Mariana Gómez, and Simone Mack.
