ImpactWayv, the pioneering Social [Impact] Media platform, proudly announced Celia Fuenzalida Del Valle as the recipient of the company’s first-ever ImpactWayv Outstanding Social Impact Award, an accolade presented live, during the exciting Miss Universo Chile competition.
As the official social media platform of Miss Universo Chile, contestants actively participated in the ‘ImpactWayv Social Impact Challenge’ throughout the competition, utilizing the ImpactWayv app to raise greater awareness of the myriad social issues they each championed to spur action from their respective followership.

"Our contestants used the Miss Universo Chile platform to raise awareness for the work they are doing to make Chile and the world a better place. ImpactWayv is the perfect venue for them to showcase their work and to educate and inspire others to get involved in social impact projects."
Contestants raised awareness of issues and promoted organizations related to, for example, healthcare, education, youth development, sustainability, and LGBTQ rights, sharing these topics throughout ImpactWayv’s digital network, and in doing so, driving tangible action such as fundraising and crowdsourcing to encourage hands-on participation in real-life projects that will make their communities, their country, and their world a better place for years to come.
Throughout the competition, Celia Fuenzalida Del Valle utilized the ImpactWayv platform to raise awareness for the Nancagua Hospital where she serves as a doctor. She shared stories of how working in rural communities opened her eyes to the essential services that are lacking outside of major urban areas. She also drove awareness to UN Chile and the Ocean Recovery Alliance, backing that support with important facts and figures and captivating videos.
ImpactWayv aims to be a healthier and more meaningful alternative to major social networking platforms. It operates as an entirely new kind of digital ecosystem, one focused on social good, enabling people, businesses, and nonprofits to effect, engage in and share social impact on a global scale.

Celia Fuenzalida Del Valle was presented with the award during the Miss Universo Chile competition by former Miss Chile, Antonia Figueroa.
