I am so honored and blessed to have been chosen as Miss Virginia USA 2021! I appreciate this opportunity so very much. I’ve dreamed of this day since I was a little girl, and I’m beyond proud of all the hard work and dedication that went into creating this moment. It truly did take a team of incredible people to help me. I have so many people to thank for believing in me and helping me along the road to get here. I can’t wait to share about them and spotlight their expertise in the coming days and weeks. "

Miss Virginia USA 2021 Christina Thompson’s court includes:

She is a strong and confident woman who loves what she is a part of. She explained that she dreamt of being a beauty queen when she was five years old and stumbled upon her mother’s Miss Ohio USA crown and banner. She added, "At that moment, I learned what it meant to dream of something. I learned how important it is to work hard for our goals. I have a story to tell and the title is a platform to be able to do so. I’ve worked to grow into a woman who is professional, compassionate, worthy, and empowered. "

Christina was working at WSET ABC 13 News before Miss Virginia USA 2021 competition and mentioned that she loved being an outlet for those in the community who feel unheard and helping to elicit change when needed. She added, "I’ve covered protests fighting for social change, countless natural disasters, a worldwide pandemic and the rebuilding of lives coming out of it, and so much more. I’ve helped dozens of Virginians receive their backlogged unemployment benefits, helping them to stay in their homes and keep their belongings. This isn’t the end. I will still be pursuing journalism and reporting, just in a different capacity. "

The beauty queen is strong, attractive, and self-assured and will now prepare herself for Miss USA 2021. She is optimistic and is looking forward to meeting all the delegates of Miss USA 2021 and learning a little bit from everyone because she believes in working on oneself every single day and improving for better performance.
