Miss World 2000 Priyanka Chopra has added another feather to her cap as she launched a new venture; an Indian restaurant in New York. She recently posted about the place she calls, ‘Sona’ that is now open in the New York City and mentioned that it has been one of her passion projects for over two years now. The beauty queen recently introduced her own haircare line; ‘Anomaly’ as well.

Priyanka Chopra posted a series of pictures on her social media where she is seen seeking blessing from almighty as she had an intimate prayer ceremony at the food joint where she was accompanied by husband Nick Jonas and her mother Madhu Chopra. The intimate prayer ceremony’s pictures were taken in September 2019, she stated.

She introduced her passion project by stating, “I’m thrilled to present to you SONA, a new restaurant in NYC that I poured my love for Indian food into. SONA is the very embodiment of timeless India and the flavors I grew up with. The kitchen is helmed by the incredible Chef Hari Nayak, a masterful talent, who has created the most delicious and innovative menu, taking you on a food journey through my amazing country."

 The Indian restaurant will be open for the public later this month and the former beauty queen thanked her friends Maneesh Goyal and David Rabin who helped her during the entire process of the restaurant. Priyanka didn’t forget to mention a special thank you to designer Melissa Bowers and the rest of the team for being able to see and realize her vision towards the restaurant so clearly.

Priyanka Chopra's father-in-law Paul Kevin Jonas congratulated her on social media. He wrote, "Congratulations, Priyanka Chopra! When do we eat?" To which she wrote "Anytime senior! It's yours.” The sources close by have mentioned that the beauty queen is immensely passionate about whatever project she is a part of and Sona is one of the special ones as it represents her roots so she has been creatively involved with it from contributing in its design, menu, music and even with its name.

The diva is a perfect example of nothing is impossible in the world, if you dare to dream it, you can achieve it too. She is a successful beauty queen, actress, producer, singer, and entrepreneur with adding new business ventures under her kitty.
