Priyanka Chopra, the style icon of India has finally been recognised at an international level by InStyle. The Miss World 2000 beauty pageant winner was honoured with the ‘Breakthrough Style Icon’ InStyle Award.

The Miss World 2000 has seen success at each level of her life, whether it was her beauty pageants’ journey, emerging as one of the best actors in Bollywood, whether it was singing, or her Hollywood career. Priyanka has always won hearts with her undying charm, amazing acting abilities, her determination to remain at the top in whichever route she chooses, and her gorgeous personality.

To me, I consider that a quadruple threat. But most importantly, Priyanka is a role model for women all over the world. For young women in India, she is an iconic symbolization of power and strength."
