Yesterday (March 12’ 2016) evening, Miss World 2015, Mireia Lalaguna appeared as a special guest on Paparazzi TV, a popular entertainment show on Puerto Rico’s Mega TV, to talk about her reign as Miss World so far, and her experience in Puerot Rico!

Mireia Lalaguna, the reigning Miss World from Spain, is spending the week in Puerto Rico as a special guest to the Miss Mundo Puerto Rico Organisation.

During her arrival, she was received by Secretary of State, Rolando Torres Carrión, and was joined by Puerto Rico National Director and Miss World 1975 Wilnelia Merced, and reigning Miss Mundo Puerto Rico Keysi Vargas.

“For me it is an honour to be in this country that I have never visited before. It is the first time I was in the Caribbean and all the people received me very well,” she said during the press conference.

The Spanish beauty also spent time with children at a local San Jorge Children's Hospital whilst her visit to Puerto Rico. The San Jorge Children’s Hospital in Santurce takes care of children suffering from a variety of illnesses.

“It was a great experience. It is the first time I have visited a hospital like this. It is quite shocking at times, to see what these kids are going through, but I am glad I can bring some joy to their lives, even if it is for one day.” Miss World said.
