With the crowning of the Big 4 beauty queens, the next stage that everybody waits for is the official touring and travelling of the beauty queens. While the Miss Universe, Pia Wurtzbach is busy attending the New York Fashion Week, we have been waiting to hear from the reigning Miss World Mireia Lalaguna.
Mireia will travel to South East Asia to kick start her official tour as the Miss World. The beauty queen will also be travelling to Indonesia and will attend the finals of Miss Indonesia 2016. Mireia will be flying to Jakarta on Saturday and will be in Indonesia for several days ahead of the final which will take place next Wednesday, on the 24th February.
Speaking ahead of her trip Mireia said: “I am so looking forward to my next trip to Indonesia. It will be great to see a new part of the world, to feel some winter sunshine, and to see Maria (Miss Indonesia 2015) again. I’ve always wanted to visit Indonesia and now is my chance. Jakarta here I come!”
After finishing up with her tour of Indonesia, she will be moving ahead with her official tour to other countries as well.
Miss Indonesia 2016 finals will be held on February 24’ 2016, where 34 contestants will be competing through various levels, including sports and fitness round. The finale will be broadcast live from the RCTI studios in Jakarta on February 24, from 20:30pm.
