Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar broke 16 years old jinx after winning the crown of Miss World 2017, received a grand welcome from her fans, friends and family on her homecoming. Manushi landed in Mumbai at 11:55 pm on 26th November 2017 and she was mesmerized by the thunderous crowd cheering on her victory.

A huge welcome was planned for her and everyone greeted by chanting "India, India" as they held up Indian flags in their hands and numerous posters of Manushi. The posters read: ‘Welcome back Manushi Chhillar’, ‘Manushi Chhillar is Beauty with Brains, Miss World 2017’.

While walking out from the airport, Manushi was spotted with her magnificent crown and her never-ending smile waving at her fans. Manushi was overwhelmed by the warm welcome and hugged her friends and relatives as soon as she came out but at the same time, she had to struggle really hard to reach her car as the shutterbugs and fans couldn’t get enough of her presence.

During her welcoming ceremony, Manushi expressed her glee saying, “I am overwhelmed to be home, thank you so much India for such a warm welcome.”

"It feels great to be back at home. Thank you India, for such a grand welcome," Manushi later tweeted.

Manushi hails from Haryana, and won the Miss World 2017 crown in Sanya, China, becoming the sixth Indian woman to win the prestigious title. She was in Hong Kong and London in the past week as the part of her reigning journey and she is now looking forward to the new exciting things about to come in her way as Miss World 2017.
