The finale of the 68th edition of Miss World is drawing nearer each passing day with the finale to be held on 8th December 2018 in Sanya, China. The preliminary rounds are already underway and all the delegates are working really hard to do their best.

Hyatt Place Hotel hosted a Cocktail Party Welcome Reception yesterday, where all the contestants were dressed beautifully, looking glamorous as ever. The official page of Miss World Organization commented about the night saying, “Elegance, Chic, Royal and Sophisticated were all on the show.”

The event was hosted for the entertainment of the delegates of Miss World 2018. All the contestants from Groups 1 - 20, divided according to the Head to Head challenge, were present during the Cocktail party. They were treated with a buffet and live music as they enjoyed each other’s company with some drinks and amazing food, compliments of the Hyatt Place Hotel.

The Miss World Organization took to their social media account to describe the occasion and wrote, “The glitz and fashion were on show as contestants attend a welcome reception dressed to impress, hosted at the rooftop, Hyatt Place Hotel, Sanya, China. Contestants were treated to a wonderful buffet and live music with panoramic views of Sanya and they were dressed to impress.”

The delegates also did a catwalk show, walking with all their confidence and a touch of oomph. They swayed with the music and socialised during the entire evening, getting a little time off from their busy scheduling while preparing for the finale. They sure did have the time of their lives.

Miss World 2018 will soon have their ’Top Model Competition’, due to which the contestants were very particular about what they were wearing, to make an early impression on the minds of the judges and the audience. Since the Head to Head challenge is widely and globally followed, it is mandatory for the delegates to always be in their best behaviour and appearance.

Miss World 2018 is one of the Big 4 pageants and its finale is watched globally by millions of followers. The conclusion of the event will see the outgoing Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar crown her successor. The winner of the 68th editor of Miss World will then assume her duties until her successor is chosen.
