On 8th December 2018 Miss World 2018 will host its grand finale in Sanya, China. A total of 120 contestants from all over the world will be competing for the crown of the next Miss World 2018. At the conclusion of the finale, our reigning queen Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar will be crowning her successor.

Currently, the contestants are currently going through the head to head challenge where they are in direct competition with the delegates in their respective groups. The first round of this challenge has been completed and the results will be out on 28th November 2018. Only one delegate from each group will proceed to the next round. At the end of this challenge, the winner of the Head to Head challenge will get a direct entry in the Top 30 during the finale.

But before the results are announced, Angelopedia presents to you the best answers given by the delegates of each group who outshone her competitors. Following are the best answers from Group 6 to Group 10 -

GROUP 6 - Denmark, British Virgin Islands, Brazil, Ireland, Bangladesh, People's Republic of China

Question - What accomplishment are you most proud of in your life and why?

The best answer of this group was by Miss World Bangladesh 2018 Jannatul Ferdous Oishee as she said that her biggest accomplishment was holding the title of Miss World Bangladesh. She continued by saying that she is proud of her country and even prouder to have become the representative of the country. Jannatul wants to serve the underprivileged people of her country and said she has been involved with a lot of social works in her community since a very long time and now she wants to do it in an even wider range. Jannatul thinks that by being on this stage, she will get the opportunity to do that. At just 18 years of age, she certainly has some big goals and that makes her the favourite of this group.

GROUP 7 - Korea, Bahamas, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Japan, Chile

Question - If you had the power, how would you change the world?

Best answer in this group was that of Miss World Chile 2018 Anahi Hormazabal. She believes that in order to change the world, we need to change ourselves first. For her, love and respect are fundamental for all to live together. Anahi further says that we should learn how to live peacefully amongst each other and learn what it feels like to be in someone else’s shoes. More than that, Anahi says that before everything, we should realise that we are human with different realities and social contexts. We have different cultures as well as learning about them is a marvellous opportunity that would change the world. Anahi presented a very sophisticated but simple front in the group which made her stand out.

GROUP 8 - Slovakia, Bolivia, Lebanon, United States, Cameroon, Cook Islands

Question - What is the most important issue your generation is facing?

Best answer of this group was given by Miss World Lebanon 2018 Mira Al-Toufaily who addressed the issue of education and job opportunities as the most important. She continues by saying that the job market is tight right now because the tuition fees of colleges and universities are very costly. Mira then goes on to say that due to this discrepancy, college graduates don’t find jobs very easily and this issue is affecting the livelihood of this generation in a very negative manner.

GROUP 9 - Indonesia, England, Albania, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Rwanda

Question - If you could have lunch with anyone dead or alive, who would it be?

The best answer of this group was given by Miss World Indonesia 2018 Alya Nurshabrina who said that she would like to have lunch or dinner with her great-grandfather because even though he passed away before her birth, his tales of hardworking and achievements have lived on. Through this, Alya has learned that her family’s legacy is intact due to its morals, not for money or status, but for values. She wants to get that one chance where she could say thank you to him, for raising the strongest person that she knows, which is her mother. Alya also wants to promote him to continue his legacy as she is who she is because of him.

GROUP 10 - Serbia, Cyprus, Slovenia, Guadeloupe, Lesotho, Nicaragua

Question - Is there something you haven’t done that you always wished you could do?

Best answer of this group was by Miss World Guadeloupe 2018 Morgane Thérésiné who said that she would like to go bungee jumping with her friends as she thinks it is a good opportunity to get some thrill, to make memories and to bring people closer together. According to her, we are our best when we are surrounded by others. Her answer was simple and on a very personal level, but it was her smile, confidence and determination that made her stand out of the group.
