Miss World shares official statement regarding allegations by Vernonika Didusenko

“Vernonika Didusenko was not an entrant in the Miss World 2018 competition.”

Miss World organization recently shared their official statement regarding the allegations made by Ukraine’s Vernonika Didusenko who was denied participated in Miss World due to the fact that she is a mother and a divorcee.

Miss World Organization explained, “We are aware of renewed allegations made by Veronika Didusenko that have recently appeared. These allegations were first made by Ms. Didusenko in 2018.  They arise from incorrect statements made by Ms Didusenko on her application to participate in the 2018 Miss Ukraine National Beauty Contest.”

The organization went on to explain how she had given false information on her application form and thus was disqualified in accordance with the rules just three days after her coronation. Thus, the organization went on to explain that she was not a part of the Miss World 2018 competition.

They also explained, “The rules under which Miss World operates are constantly under review.  The rules are set with the principal aim of finding a Miss World who is free and able to commit, often at short notice, to travel globally in support of the sick and disadvantaged which may be for long periods of time, often to areas devastated by natural disasters.”

The organization then ended the statement saying that Didusenko’s public and misplaced allegations have left them with no option but to give the matters in the hands of the lawyers.
