Miss World 2021, the 70th edition of the Miss World, is set to be held on 16th December 2021 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico where Toni-Ann Singh of Jamaica will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
While almost all the delegates have finally arrived in the host country and have begun with the registration process for the competition, the Miss World organization has kick started the competition with pre-pageant rounds.
With the preparations and whirlwind of activities now in full swing, here are some of the contestants who have stood out to us because of their brilliant sense of dressing –
Miss World India 2021 Manasa Varanasi
One of the most elegant candidates on the competition is Manasa Varanasi of India. The diva wore a navy-blue dress which was symbolic of ‘the wheel of duty: Ashok Chakra’ on her way to Puerto Rico. Looking sizzling in sleek hair and hoops, the diva oozed confidence and tension in air in her recent outfit by Payal Khandwala. Manasa has been bleeding blue on her stint at the competition, from her sea green Kanchipuram silk sari which featured a self-colour border and aesthetically charming accents to looking absolutely ravishing on the streets of Old San Juan in her lehenga by Abhinav Mishra.
Miss World Cote d'Ivoire 2021 Olivia Yace
Cote d'Ivoire’s Olivia knows how to pull off a bold outfit, most of her looks have been striking and vivid. She looked like a queen on the day of the dinner with the mayor as she wore a silky emerald green dress paired with head turning jewellery. Her fashion game is unmatched, clad in embroidered white pant suit, Olivia aced her outfit for the head-to-head round of the competition. On sixth night of her stay at the hotel, she wore a classic white body hugging dress paired with a headpiece, making her overall outfit pop out.
Miss World Philippines 2021 Tracy Maureen Perez
Tracy has been rocking every fit on her stay at the resort and the way she carries herself is nothing short of poise. Starting off with her sleek airport look and then donning a hot pink bodysuit with scarf draped at the neckline by We Are Biro and Jeremia Horibe on her day one at the Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve. The diva wore a green crop blazer and pants by Kannah Design on her second day and an orange silky top and indigenous skirt by Neil Patrick Jimlani on the third day of her advent. Next, she wore a royal blue silk top and indigenous skirt by Jheboi Ramos Pascual in the head-to-head challenge. The inspiration behind this outfit was to showcase the elegance and to resurge the filipino textiles in the international arena. She is one of the best dressed contestants on the competition so far.
Miss World South Africa 2021 Shudufhadzo Musida
Shudufhadzo looked like a dream in her recent white ensemble by Ryan keys. Carrying the dress with such poise and certainty in herself, the mental health advocate stunned everyone with her outfit. Her fashion game shone through on her way to Old San Juan as she wore a flowing top and pants by Sherif with shades. On the day of head-to-head challenge, Musida wore a blue bodycon dress by Limbo and looked jaw dropping gorgeous.
Miss World Vietnam 2021 Do Thi Hà
Vietnam’s Do Thi Hà deserves all the attention as she looked like a goddess in her blue dress designed and styled by Saccie and Kiet Cao. On the day of the head-to-head challenge, the queen was clad in a gown by Tung Vu giving an air of subtle certainty. She donned a classic white pant suit designed by Hà Thanh Viet on the day of the presentations, well suited to the occasion and on point with her look.
Miss World Ecuador 2021 Amar Ibarra
One of the most elegantly dressed contestant who has been turning heads is Miss World Ecuador 2021 Amar Ibarra. Ibarra wore a cute lemon yellow top paired with a tiered skirt with hints of white and black by Alquiler Y Venta De Vestidos on the day of head-to-head challenge and looked sun raging. The queen wore an exclusive outfit by Deyalis Picado on her visit to the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture that was filled with music, views of beautiful landscapes and a company of brilliant people. The queen looked like a force to reckon in her purple pencil skirt and top on her day 3 at the hotel. The diva sure knows how to create a look.
Miss World USA 2021 Shree Saini
Shree wore a shimmering green gown on her dinner with Mayor of Rio Grande and looked flawless. The diva is simple yet absolutely elegant in the way she carries her outfits apparent from the bodycon dress she wore on one of first days at the hotel. She wore a sequin blue gown on the day of thanksgiving and looked as appealing as the winter sun.
Miss World Jamaica 2021 Khalia Hall
Khalia flew off to Puerto Rico in style as she wore an emerald green dress designed by Lucien Harrison paired with white pointed shoes. Her airport look was needless to say, worth all the rage. On day 4 Khalia wore tiger orange classic bootcut pants and white top by Yolvinta, an contemporary conceptualized archaic inspired womens clothing force, on her way to Sala Sinfónica Pablo Casals in San Juan. On the day of dinner with the Mayor of Rio Grande, the diva wore a ravishing peach dress and looked like an absolute angel.
Miss World Nepal 2021 Namrata Shrestha
Namrata wore a pink knee slit gown by Manish Rai on the day of her Beauty With a Purpose presentation and looked absolutely stunning. On the day of thanksgiving, Namrata wore a classic red silk dress by Muku and a floral off-shoulder gown with open hair during her stay at the hotel. Namrata has been slaying it in all of her fits at the competition.
Miss World Estonia 2021 Karolin Kippasto
Karolin gleamed in her golden bodycon dress she wore this Monday with beautifully styled hair and aesthetic jewellery by Riina Mettas. On the day of the head-to-head challenge, the diva pulled her hair into a clean bun and wore a red collared dress by Tallinn Dolls. On one of her first days at the resort, the queen wore a dainty floral dress by J'adore fashion boutique, going perfectly with the Puerto Rican sun.
