Following the official announcement of India being the host country for the 71st Miss World, the coronation night date has not been confirmed. The finale of Miss World 2023 will be held on 9th December 2023 in Mumbai.

India last hosted the Miss World pageant in 1996. The country is now preparing to host the 71st Miss World after a 27-year gap. Contestants from over 130 countries will come to India to showcase their unique talents, intelligence, and compassion and will participate in a series of rigorous competitions, including talent showcases, sports challenges, and charitable initiatives.

The month-long pre-pageant events and activities for Miss World 2023 will kick off in New Delhi in November. Miss World 2022 Karolina Bielawska of Poland will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Aruba, Australia, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belarus, British Virgin Islands, Croatia, Denmark, Ethiopia, Georgia, Greece, Guatemala, Guyana, Kazakhstan, Laos, Lebanon, Lesotho, Liberia, Montenegro, Morocco, Myanmar, New Zealand, Romania, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Suriname, Thailand are the countries returning to Miss World this year.
