Miss International Hong Kong organization announced Verna Leung as the newly designated Miss International Hong Kong 2023 as she became the official representative of Hong Kong at Miss International 2023.

Verna is 25 years of age and stands 5 feet 9.5 inches tall. She is a fashion model and runs a Pet Food Bakery. Through her reign as Miss International Hong Kong 2023, Verna aims to create a pet adoption platform for homeless pets.

On winning the national title, Verna took to her official social media as she wrote, “Dear friends, I feel extremely grateful to announce that I am selected as Miss International Hong Kong 2023. I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to all judges, HK team and friends for believing in me all along. Your unwavering support has certainly motivated me to be a better person. From now on, being Miss International Hong Kong 2023, I am so ready to give my fullest for any challenges. Success is not by chance but by choice.”

Along with the winner, Lucy Stewart was adjudged as the first runner-up. She was also the winner of Miss Photogenic & Best in Evening Gown. The second runner-up was Sela Wang who works as a Financial Analyst.

Miss International 2023, the 61st Miss International, is scheduled to be held at the Yoyogi Gymnasium No. 2 in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan on 26th October 2023 where Miss International 2022 Jasmin Selberg of Germany will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
