Former Miss World Erin Holland has already made a name for herself in the cut-throat fashion industry.

While making waves in the field of fashion, the beauty queen now hopes to make it in the music charts after releasing her own twist on Conrad Sewell’s popular hit, Firestone.

The 27-year-old Australian beauty queen has teamed up with rock-pop singer Krystie Steve on the anticipated track.

Speaking about her collaborator on this track, Holland said “She’s pretty much the opposite to me in every which way. She’s got a really fierce look. She’s an incredible singer but is self taught. In a crazy way, our voices complemented each other which you wouldn’t have thought considering we come from such different backgrounds musically.”

The beauty queen is an ace opera singer and has a degree in classical vocal performance from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, while Krystie has carved out a successful career in pop and rock charts.

Despite being ace in the field of singing, the beauty confessed to sources earlier this year that she’s equally anxious and excited about releasing the hit, saying: “I never really did pop before”.

“I grew up my whole life singing musical theatre and classical which is completely different. Just going into a recording studio and singing a different genre has been really fun.”

Erin further says - “As long as I can do a good job when people see me performing, it is a good thing being underestimated because most people don’t expect me to be able to sing,” “It is a great feeling to have people realiseI can sing.”
