Ashley Hamilton crowned as Miss World Bahamas 2016

Miss Long Island Ashley Hamilton has been crowned Miss World Bahamas 2016 at the finale held on July 25’ 2016. Ashley succeeds Chantel O’Brian, and will now represent Bahamas at the Miss World 2016 pageant.

23 years old Long Island beauty stands tall at an astounding height of 6’1”. The green eyes beauty has a bachelor’s degree in history. Ashley put herself through school by applying for and being granted scholarship and the beauty is really proud of the fact. Ahsley studied at United World College in Western Canada and then went to the University of Florida. She aspires to become a leading commercial Attorney and productive citizen.

The Long Island beauty likes modelling and enjoys travelling and researching about new cultures. She is a foodie and enjoys different cuisines, and her favourite foods are hummus, sushi and tabbouleh.

At the same event, Miss World Paradise Island Prisha Adderly was adjudged first runner-up and Miss World Cat Island Rotalya Williams was adjudged second runner-up. In addition to winning the crown, Ashley also won the costume round donning a striking blue feathered piece – Long Island Breeze. She also made it to the Top 3 finalists of the Swimsuit segment.
