Ntandoyenkosi Kunene Miss South Africa 2016 recieved her Honours Degree in Curriculum Issues from Wits – University of the Witwatersrand. Ntandoyenkosi was crowned Miss South Africa 2016 at the finale held on March 19’ 2016. Her advocacy is a well-apt advocacy and the beauty queen is passionate about it.

Her advocacy demanded education and the achievement is a great victory in itself. Also by the way the beauty is conducting her advocacy; it looks like she is dedicated towards her ideology. As per reports, South Africa has one of theworst school systems in the world. Even within Africa the country’s performance is lower than the poorer nations of the continent, such as Zimbabwe, Tanzania and Swaziland.

Being the reigning Miss South Africa will definitely make a difference and can also help bring the much needed change. Ntandoyenkosi has already had discussion with the South African Minister of Basic Education and has hopefully talked about the policies to help improve the educational system in South Africa.

Ntandoyenkosi wants to make an appreciable difference to the society in which she lives. Professor Mamokgethi Phakeng, the first black woman to obtain a PhD in Mathematics Education and who also runs an Adopt-A-Learner foundation, is an inspiration to Ntandoyenkosi. “Most women succeed against all odds. I say start writing your own story,” says Ntandoyenkosi giving a strong message to young girls.
